| Bio: | I veer between cynicism and romanticism. Music makes my world go round. Books make it go faster (a lot faster, actually, because they sometimes leave little time for real life). I am thirty I'm a writer and reader who currently spends far too much time online playing in HP fandom, writing and reading gen, slash and het fic. I consider myself an equal opportunities shipper, ie I approach other people's writing with an open mind, regardless of the pairing. It's the writing that counts, as far as I'm concerned! Passions include reading (widely but not indiscriminately), writing (generally angsty self-indulgent rubbish), indie music, jumping around to indie music, sport (watching football, tennis, athletics, cricket and various others from time to time; also running and yoga) and food (eating rather too much of it, but hey, you can't have everything). Anyone is welcome to friend this journal. Due to time constraints, I can't friend back automatically (although I may well do so), but I do try and check in on the journals of people who have me friended every once in a while. Similarly, if I friend you, please don't feel you have to reciprocate :). Stories I have written that I still like: Regenesis, gen, PG-13. Various characters try to cope in the aftermath of Voldemort's death. Includes Neville, Remus, Harry, Snape, the Weasleys, Hermione and canon relationships. Out of the Shadows, gen (Snape), PG. Harry Potter walks into the Great Hall, and your breath disappears. The Apple Loft, slash (Remus/Sirius), PG. Sirius is miserable as autumn closes in at number twelve, Grimmauld Place. Remus has a plan to cheer him up - but so, it turns out, do other people. A Drift of Magic, gen (Petunia), G. Harry's arrival on Petunia's doorstep brings back some long-forgotten memories. Visitors, gen (Alice Longbottom), PG with a warning for character death (not Alice). At night, Alice dreams of a little boy who brings her tokens of his love when he comes home from school. It's a good dream, and when she wakes, she lies there for a few minutes, basking in the afterglow of a happiness she can't quite remember. Into the Good Night, gen (Dumbledore, Snape, Harry). PG-13 with a warning for character death. Albus has many things to accomplish, and his time is running out. Into a Cage of Lions, gen (Neville), PG.
